One of my other favorite places to grine is Koko Ichiban Ya located at 360 Papa Pl. off of Dairy Road in Kahului, coming to the airport from Lahaina, it's on the left hand side on the corner of Dairy and Hana Hwy. Phone: 808-871-9108
The chicken katsu is killer, one of the best on the rock, possibly the whole wide world! Seriously! Tell the chef to put some curry sauce over it and make it a chicken katsu curry, and it's orgasmic in the mouth. If you want local food, go to Koko Ichiban Ya.
