BREAKFAST AT LAHAINA COOLERS

Lahaina Coolers on Dickenson Street in Down Town Lahaina is a quaint little restaurant with a bar and table seating. It is a very casual place where they serve breakfast, lunch & dinner. If you want to watch a ball game, there's a few seats at the bar, and one of the friendliest bartenders there Craig is happy to serve you Lahaina Coolers style.

Today it was breakfast with the A Hui Hou Storage executives, and they wanted to do it Lahaina Style, so into the car and in minutes we were seated by a cool waiter. Seemed like everyone knew what they wanted since Coolers is sort of an institution in Lahaina. In fact I worked part-time there in the early 2000s.

Kawehi Akiona ordered coffee, and the Surfer Special which as written on their menu, Scrambled Eggs, Canadian Bacon, Portuguese Sausage, Cheddar Jack Cheese, & Local Veggies wrapped in a tomato tortilla topped with enchilada sauce and salsa, served with rice and beans. $12.00

Tam Sambrano ordered coffee, one side of pancake, and a flat iron steak.

Yours truly had the Local Benedict, 2 poached eggs, over kalua pork, with Hawaiian Sweetbread, topped with delicious Hollandaise sauce and potatoes.

All in all, Lahaina Coolers was awesome for breakfast, my potatoes were slightly warm, but no worries, everything else was great. Open air dining room, watched some Sports Center it was perfect.

Breakfast 8am to 11 am Mon-Sat. Sunday 8am to 1pm
