Beef Curry hobo lunch at the Honolua Store in Kapalua cost less than 6 bucks, if you're a visitor and in the area, or will be staying in the Kahana/Napili/Kapalua areas, the Honolua store is another place to get local lunches that's not too expensive.
Try to get there before noon, because the food warmers that the foods are in does tend to dry up and start to slowly overcook, but the store does have hot sandwiches made to order if you don't want anything from the hot display.
Looks a tad messy but it is what it is, local grines can look sloppy, but that's why it tastes good.
Directions: Heading north on Hwy. 30 go past Napilihau Rd. (stop light) about a mile, turn left on Office Road, go down about 1/4 of a mile, on the left hand side is the Honolua Store, it is right before the Ritz Carlton Hotel Kapalua. Doors open at 6 am every morning till 8pm at night.
