HAWAIIAN SUN GUAVA NECTAR MARINADE

Hey no sugar for cooking? What do you need the sugar for? Oh, like a sweetener for an Asian marinade? OK, do you have some Hawaiian Sun Guava nectar in the fridge? You do? OK, hold on, I'll tell you what to do.

HAWAIIAN SUN SOFT DRINKS are great to sweeten any Asian marinade, from a Kalbi sauce, Bulgogi, and Teriyaki. All these sauces are basically the same stuff with a plus or minus of some ingredients. So whatever you are making, let's say a Teri sauce, if you use this Hawaiian Sun Guava Nectar it will be sweet, but also you will have a hint of guava. Wouldn't that be good? Wouldn't you like that? Sure you would. No one can turn down guava. This concoction will make for good grilling, the sugars from this can will caramelize.

GUAVA TERI MARINADE

4  C. of dark soy sauce

1 can of Hawaiian Sun Guava Nectar

1/4 C Honey or agave nectar

1 inch ginger smashed

4-6 cloves garlic smashed

1/4 cup chopped scallions (green onions)

* Adjust the sweetness by adding more nectar or honey

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, and marinate your favorite protein. Thin slices of beef, pork, chicken, or even tofu will work.
