Maui- KFC vs. MINIT STOP Fried Chicken War

Fried Chicken on Maui? Sure we got fried chicken, and the place you have to go to to get good fried chicken is Minit Stop in Kahului on 85 S. Wakaea Ave, at the 76 station, likewise on Dairy Road and Alamaha St. also at the 76 station. In Kihei in the Piilani Shopping Village, and in Wailuku on Main St. In Makawao town, Paia, and Pukalani.

Minit Stop is a great local spot for an early morning coffee and pastries, as Home Maid Bakery supplies their sweets, you stop here, and you got a flavor of the local style food. The grab and go counters are filled with ready made goodies, Spam Musubi, Cone Sushi, Maki Sushi, and lunch bentos to go.

Their plate lunches are cooked fresh, and very local, very home style food which makes this dig a favorite for many locals on the run. And I do mean on the run, my friend Isaac was running from the FBI, and he stopped at Minit Stop to get his fried chicken fix. Seriously, and believe it or not, the FBI agents decided to get some too before booking him for a federal crime. Ha ha. So go ahead and get yourself some local Maui style fried chicken from Minit Stop. And just to let you know, Magic Johnson stopped by one time and ordered a lot of fried chicken to take home, Magic loves him some fried chicken. I do too sometimes, and like I said, the chicken is really good if you get there at the right time. Also, if you need drinks, they have some of the best deals on beers, sodas, juices, iced coffees on island. Need cigarettes, they have it. Need some motor oil, glue, tape, tweezers, soap, they got that too.

And if you are a KFC junky then Maui has a few of them, one in Kahului on Wakea Ave., one in Kihei across from Kalama Park, and one in Lahaina near the post office. So we do have fried chicken if you all don't wanna spend your money all at the hotel restaurants.
