Maui- Chicken Breast Chinese Style

Chicken Breast w/ a Chinese Touch, healthy white meat, low saturated fats. For someone looking for Chinese flavors, but low on the sodium too. Check this out, reall easy to prepare and cook.

Heat up your broiler.

1 large boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in half. (2 servings)

2- tbsp. of garlic powder
1- tbsp.  of white pepper

 1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup of filtered water
1 tbsp. of oyster sauce
1 tsp. of minced ginger
1 tsp. of minced garlic
2 tbsp. of agave syrup

1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. of water...... these two items mixed together

1. Sprinkle the garlic powder over both halves divided. Do the same with the white pepper.
2. In a small sauce pan heat up the soy sauce, water, oyster sauce, ginger, garlic, and agave syrup. Bring to a boil, then add in the cornstarch and water mixture to thicken. Off heat set aside.
3. Broil the breasts, top side first for about 4 minutes, the turn and cook for 3 minutes.
4. Place each half on its own plate, serve with brown rice.
5. To;p each piece with the sauce.

Use Organic or Free Range chicken breast when available
